News Bites from Comic Con

-Epic Games has announced the Gears of War: Judgment release date: March 19, 2013
-Season three of The Walking Dead will premiere on AMC October 14.
-November 2012 Neil Gaiman will be teaming up with veteran comic artist J.H. Williams III to continue the epic story of "Sandman."
-No third 'Hobbit' pic planned: Studio reps dismiss rumor of additional feature.
-Capcom announced that, in association with Assassin’s Fist Limited, they will be producing a live action Street Fighter series! The story will revolve around Ken and Ryu who are the last practitioners of a martial arts style called, “Assassin’s Fist.” It will delve into the back story of a lot of characters in the SF universe and how they all connect together.

San Diego Comic Con on G4

So if you cant be there and you have already checked out the stuff I have here on Freak Show...where do you go next? G4 has tons of live SDCC coverage starting tonight at 7p with X-Play. Friday night will have happenings from the Con with Attack of the Show at 7p. Finally ending Saturday with  super sha-bang-a-bang coverage from San Diego for 4 whole hours starting at 4p!!!

Movie News!!

-Gi Joe:Retaliation's release date has been pushed back a year. Rumor has it that it has been moved back to make the movie 3-D.
-Iron Man 3 started shooting last week. Robert Downey Jr, Gwyneth Paltrow, and Don Cheadle return with new cast members Guy Pierce, Paul Bettany, and Ben Kingsley.

-The first movie poster for RED 2 with   Bruce Willis, John Malkovich, Mary-Louise Parker, Helen Mirren, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Byung-Hun Lee. Set for release August 2013.

Prometheus is coming!!!

On June 8th the prequel to "Alien" is released in the US.  So far, the makers of the film, including Director Ridley Scott, have been tight lipped about what he story is about and how it relates to the past movies but so far from what i see with trailers and pics, its going to be another Summer blockbuster.  Check out these pics and check out the film when it hits theaters June 8th!!!
